Current works
These works span flora, still life, and scenes from my life.
The Flora series explores nature, beauty, and classical traditions of observation. Rendered in archival oils on heavyweight canvas, these paintings bring the emotional intensity of European expressionism into dialogue with the particular wildness of the Australian landscape.
The miniature still life works, painted in archival oils on wooden panel, explore simplicity and quiet contemplation through a classical lens — referencing Cézanne's structural rigour and Morandi's meditative attention to form and placement.
The paintings of my cat Liv capture the whimsical beauty of an elusive animal through sensitive, energetic brushstrokes.
