MUSIC
Catherine Traicos is a composer, songwriter and performer whose vocals move between strength and vulnerability with rare honesty. Her work is grounded in feeling, drawing listeners into a space both close and expansive.
She has performed at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall, Nashville's Bluebird Café, and festivals across Australia, the US and Sweden. She has supported Beth Orton, Mountain Goats, Dirty Projectors, and Simone Felice. Her work has been praised by Rolling Stone, The Age, and The Sydney Morning Herald.
Her eleventh album In The Heart Of The Night, created with Nick Huggins (Dirty Three, Kid Sam), was recorded by the sea — an improvisation-led, analogue work that unfolds as a single continuous body. Her 2024 album SWANSONGS, produced with Anna Laverty (Stella Donnelly, Missy Higgins), expanded her sonic language while remaining anchored in voice and song.
